  I stayed at Jenny's lovely smallholding in September 2015 with some friends. We brought our horses from Somerset and had a long weekend enjoying the area around Wiston, Caneston Woods and travelling slightly out to ride on beaches at Freshwater West and around Llys-y-fran reservoir. West Wales is a must-see if you love riding. The countryside is stunning and varied and the bridlepaths are really well maintained and clearly marked on OS maps. Jenny was a wonderful hostess, and guided us on two of our rides. Her well-converted cottages are immaculate and provide all the home-from-home comforts you need after a long day in the saddle. The stabling is beautiful too - old Welsh stone barns with large looseboxes. We all thoroughly enjoyed it and will definitely be back! (Ps we also had a good, hearty meal in The Cross Inn at nearby Clarbeston Road which we'd also really recommend)
